Review: What a little fever dream of a book. Flowy, full of pathos, and the type of book that gets into the “inner” thoughts of a parent. It is very much centered around parenting and the task of raising children. Will resonate even if you don’t have kids — after all, everyone has parent figures, right? 8/10.
📖 Currently reading: All Fours by Miranda July
So far: Her books tend to be polarizing, and yes, this one gets right into it. I’m three chapters in and the “ride” is about to begin. A highly enjoyable read.

Why I picked it: Mississippi murder mystery described as bold and provocative? I’m intrigued and can’t wait to pick it up.
